‘Pro’ Lee Won-seok, who plays for the Seoul Samsung토토사이트, reflects on his college days.
Yonsei University lost 45-62 to Korea University in the 2023 KUSF University Basketball U-League Men’s Division at Korea University’s Hwajung Gymnasium on Nov. 25.
Yonsei alumnus Lee Won-seok was in attendance for the game, and his affection and interest in the game remained as he went straight to the pros after his freshman year of college.
“I came to watch the game,” he said at halftime. I remember when I played there too. The difference is the crowd. Back then, the fans couldn’t come because of COVID-19, and that was too bad. Now, there are a lot of fans and the players work really hard,” he said.
“In our time, we beat KU. (Laughs) Actually, we did some things well, but it wasn’t a home-and-home, so that has an impact,” he added.
At the end of the first half, the score was 16-29. A game that could have been turned around. “Every game is really important,” said Lee Won-seok. And it’s better if we win every game. But it might not happen. In that case, you have to recover quickly. Also, we have a regular match against Yonsei University. Even if we lose today, we can win then. I hope everyone can play healthy and not overexert themselves,” he said.
He also said, “There are a lot of players who are doing so well right now. I want to play with them as soon as possible. Until then, I will do my best to prepare. (Laughs) I don’t want to be left behind.” He also shared his determination.
Despite the support, Yonsei was unable to overcome the first half deficit and lost the game. It was the first loss of the season for Yonsei.
