He hits a ball straight to center field and it goes over.
A solo home run to lead off the game!
It’s the first leadoff home run of his big league career.
It’s his seventh home run of the season and his second in a row.
It wasn’t the end for Kim, though.
With runners on second and third in the fifth inning, he had another chance…and he hit a clean single up the middle to bring in both runners.
That was followed by Bogart’s game-winning hit to put the game out of reach for San Diego.
Kim went 2-for-5 with a home run, three RBIs, and two runs scored in the big win.
He’s been hitting well lately, what do you think?

“I’m feeling good and excited at the plate. I’ve been borrowing bats from different players.”
With an eight-game hitting streak and a batting average in the high 2.5s, we’re looking forward to a hot summer for Ha Sung Kim.
